Using ZipTool
By using ZipTool, you agree to these terms. ZipTool is a free, client-side utility for viewing archive files in your browser.
The service is provided "as is"
ZipTool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will correctly parse every archive.
No data handling
Because ZipTool processes files entirely in your browser, we never receive, transmit, or store your files. We therefore have no ability to recover, disclose, or be responsible for the contents of files you choose to open.
Acceptable use
- Do not use ZipTool to violate any law or the rights of others.
- You are responsible for the files you choose to open and any actions you take based on their contents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the files you open; ZipTool claims no ownership over your data. The ZipTool name, branding and software are owned by their respective authors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZipTool and its authors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the ZipTool operator resides.
